Happy Thanksgiving! Plus 5 easy tips to say thank you!

It's almost Thanksgiving here in the US. The time of giving thanks, sharing, and being grateful. And even though Thanksgiving looks different for many families this year, there is still so much to be thankful for! 🙏🏼

Many of you know, that I was born and raised in Germany, and I didn’t grow up with this holiday. After 18 years in the US, the Thanksgiving holiday with its warm traditions has become most precious to me. I talked about gratitude a lot in the last few months. Not only is gratitude an important part of my Good Wave Gifts business, but also in my private life. Counting my blessings every day has made a big difference in handling challenges during this "unusual" and crazy year. I feel that I cannot be worried and grateful at the same time. I hope you have a lot to be grateful for too! 🙏🏼
Even if you might not see all family members or friends you’d like to see this week, we still can express thank yous, stay connected to make our family and friends (and business people) feel appreciated and loved. We all have a choice to be grateful and send out good vibes. 

Here are 5 simple and free ways to say thank you:

• How about being more aware of the gift of a smile? Often. It is easy and simple and makes a big difference - and it is highly contagious. Make somebody else’s day and feel better too! 
• Give the gift of time with a conscious decision to give time and undistracted attention to your people. It is a precious gift in our fast-paced world.
• Why not be generous with the gift of a compliment? We all like to receive compliments because we feel seen and appreciated, right? When it comes from the heart it makes people feel good about themselves!
• Think about the gift of a conscious act of kindness. All kinds. Small, middle, and large acts of kindness. From opening a door for a stranger to doing something unexpected and nice for family and friends.
• And of course the gift of good vibes and positive energy wherever and whenever you can. It makes people feel happier. And you’ll get good vibes right back! ​
